Well, Crazykenny, I wouln't mind taking a shot at your ships, but I've seriously altered my dreadnaught's weaponry. I realized the only reason why the H.M.C.S. Charger won was because the main G.O.D. cannons weren't exactly fair. After carfully studying of the WCW5 class (specifically it's Ion Beamer), I realized that the G.O.D. cannons were simply putting out an insane amount of damage. Mind you they still do, but now it's less damaging per second and instead of the stock reload time, I put in a cool down time of a minute. Before this, I had no idea how much altering could be done to weapons or how to do it for that matter -------------------- |

I have to ask though, is your "whale" going to grow any larger? Not much, I'm just having it feature double re-enforced armour covering the edges. I'm pretty much done with the hard hitting weaponry. Your ship is nice, Nuker, very intricate. Only think I can knock is the parenting, while it works to have them all parented to the centre, you may end up with floating sections that make she ship look a little un-proffestional should anything get nastily blown off.

Here's my work in progress, first ship, and my entry into this wild fray: The Bora Class Heavy Cruiser ![]() Regards, Nuker Awesome. Looks kinda alianish. Either that or hyper-advanced technology. That ship looks really cool, well done. There's just one thing I'd like to say about it: The Parenting and Childing is a bit screwed up. As what I mean with this: If you destroy a section attached to 2 other sections, the other two sections will stay untouched, meaning one piece of the ship will just drift ''attached'' to your ship in space. To fix this: Either start another ship, because fixing this will be a hell job to do, or remove the first piece, connect it to the core, then remove the piece adjecent to it, select that piece and replace the piece you just removed. Can anyone suggest a sensible, yet durable HP for my Titan, Here it is so far, BTW
![]() That also survived a direct hit from one of Strangelove's ships, I forget which one, but I think it was the one with 3 shockbeamers. It took out a huge chunk from the arm section though, 2nd from the right, on the bottom. This post has been edited by nidmeister: 8 Dec 2007, 12:40 -------------------- ![]() |

Enough Guns? I prefer Speed, and Decent Firepower over Lumbering Hulks tbh.
My Newest ship: ![]() Shock Beamers and Quad Blasters Modded with extra range (1000). All Weapons Except GattPulses have 360 Coverage and the Quad Blasters are doubled up (two where it looks like one). -------------------- |

It was a slight exageration. Though Really, Lizzie's Ship, can do over 8K damage with 3 Beamers 0_o
Mind you, ANY beamer weapon does a Crapload more damage than they say they do, a pair of Mega Beamers with 80 damage will do over 2K damage each. This post has been edited by Zancloufer: 8 Dec 2007, 16:41 -------------------- |

Heres the finished ship, if anyone wants to toyaround with it, take their best shot at beating the armour of it. I settled on a HP of 6000.

@Mental: IIRC, Lizzie has 3 more complete fleets on top of that "old school" fleet she has proudly displayed.
@Zan: You think it's big enough? My best, Nuker -------------------- ![]() |

I've FINALLY finished all the American AFVs for my Golden Eagle fleet. Now all that's left are the small craft. I expect to be able to release the fleet by the weekend. I've already done a few small craft (Flying Fortress, Liberator, Superfortress) and yes, I've even implemented the Enola Gay as a nuke (antimatter) bomber.....
Look at it this way; the Iron Demons have their überpowerful Ratte superdreadnought flagship, the Golden Eagles have an antimatter bomber.
